CFK Board Secretary
Agent, State Farm Insurance
Darryl Andrews lives a life of providing hope for people that are hurting. With more than 24 years of experience in the Insurance and Financial Services industry, he found that his personal and vocational missions meet, serving as a State Farm Insurance Agent.
Equipped with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and a Masters from the School of Hard Knocks, Darryl opened his State Farm Agency doors in 1999. Darryl’s approach to genuinely caring for his clients has resulted in a 123% growth in the number of families he serves. He shows his care for them by representing State Farm’s mission “to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams”.
Along with being a current member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, some of Darryl’s State Farm awards and recognitions include Ambassador Club, Legion of Honor, Central Vice President’s Council, Regional Vice President’s Honor Club and Arkansas All Star Team.
As a former Volunteer of the Year for the Washington County Juvenile Detention Center, Darryl understands the value of giving back to his community. Some of the current and past organizations he has worked with include the following: Champions for Kids, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Fayetteville Youth Baseball, Fayetteville Lions Club and Special Olympics.
Faith, family and friends are the building blocks for which Darryl has constructed his life to love and serve others. “One of my favorite recent quotes says ‘The hurting that don’t hurt any more, know how to love the hurting’ (unknown author). Life gives us opportunities, precious gifts; what we do with them is a choice.”
