Make a difference with the Jennie-O & Champions for Kids “Make The Switch” Challenge

Jackie of Free Is My Lifeand her son made some SIMPLE changes at home, switching out carbonated soda for healthier flavored water drinks and used their savings to make a donation to the non-profit  P.O.W.E.R.  (Presenting Opportunities Winning Effectual Results) organization in Metro Detroit.  The organization provides assistance to young students, helping them to achieve confidence, competency, and proficiency in math and also provides lunches during the sessions.

LaToniya Jones, a professor at Baker College in Auburn Hills. Ms. Jones eats, breaths and sleeps math and works tirelessly with kids to help them to love math, shared her thoughts on the Champions For Kids SIMPLE service projects through a video interview.  “I think this is really awesome. It’s an incentive for individuals to get involved and let them know that there is a greater organization out there supporting their endeavors” said Ms. Jones.
