Help kids thrive in your community!
Nothing livens up a celebration like colorful homemade decorations and crafts, and working on creative projects is a fun way for kids to develop their imaginations and motor skills. For your next gathering, why not get crafty by doing a fun project together AND collecting items to make sure all kids have the resources to celebrate their creativity? This October, Fiskars is celebrating 365 years of pride, passion, and design.
You can help by hosting a Creation Celebration!
It’s this SIMPLE!
1. GATHER your friends, family, and neighbors for a Creation Celebration. Plan a fun craft project that everyone can do together! You can find great projects for all ages at www2.fiskars.com/Inspiration-Projects/. Ask each person to bring crafting supplies—such as safety scissors, paint, construction paper, and glue—to donate.
2. LEARN about organizations in your community that help kids to express their creativity. How can you share your time or resources to help them thrive?
3. GIVE the items that you have collected to a local teacher, social worker, community art program, or other organization that helps children.
4. SHARE your project at championsforkids.org/share. How many people were involved, and how many items did you collect? Please let us know that you are one of millions who are helping give kids the resources they need to thrive!
You can also win items for your school by sharing your story with us before October 15, 2014.
