Our Mission

Champions for Kids provides resources for children in our nation’s highest poverty schools to be prepared for success in school and in life.  We do this by providing teachers in K-8 public schools with resources, incentives, and rewards to help children and youth reach and exceed school benchmarks in reading, health and fitness and soon additional STEM programs. Our priority focus is Northwest Arkansas K-8 public schools.

Our Vision

Our vision is that ALL children graduate from high school with the skills, training, support, and healthy habits that prepare them for success in life.

Our Values

Our core values have remained our driving force. ALL children should have:

  • Someone who cares
  • A place to belong
  • Hope for tomorrow
  • Provisions for their journey

✨ A Look Back: Holiday Festival – December 15, 2023 ✨
Our first-ever Champions for Kids Holiday Festival lit up the Springdale Holiday Inn, welcoming students, families, and educators from K–8 schools in Northwest Arkansas. As part of the I FINISHED STRONG! Reading Champions Program, we celebrated literacy victories with cozy blankets, holiday treats, festive activities, and stage recognition for students who finished strong in reading. It was a warm, unforgettable evening that set the tone for community, celebration, and support for years to come.
